Advisory Board

Advisory Board Member

Shape the scientific and strategic direction of a precision genetic medicine company at the scar border of heart failure.

What you’ll do

  • Advise the founders on scientific strategy, target selection, and clinical development planning.
  • Connect the team to key opinion leaders, investigators, and industry partners in cardiovascular medicine and fibrosis.
  • Guide fundraising, business development, and board-level decisions through IND-enabling studies.
  • Serve as a trusted, hands-on sounding board for the leadership team.

What we’re looking for

  • MD, MD/PhD, or PhD with leadership experience in cardiovascular medicine, fibrosis biology, or genetic medicines.
  • A record of moving preclinical programs toward the clinic, in academia or industry.
  • An established network across cardiology, cardiovascular drug development, or biotech.
  • Availability for periodic strategy sessions and ad hoc guidance.
Research & Development

Cardiovascular Scientist

Drive the bench science that distinguishes reparative from invasive fibroblasts and validates the dual-key platform.

What you’ll do

  • Design and execute in vitro and in vivo models of cardiac injury, fibrosis, and remodeling.
  • Perform single-cell and spatial transcriptomics experiments to map fibroblast subpopulations at the scar border.
  • Validate targets and advance candidates toward IND-enabling studies.
  • Analyze, present, and document data to support regulatory and partner discussions.

What we’re looking for

  • PhD in cardiovascular biology, molecular biology, or a related field; postdoctoral experience welcome.
  • Hands-on experience with myocardial infarction models, fibroblast biology, or spatial genomics.
  • Comfort with single-cell analysis pipelines and rigorous, reproducible science.
  • A collaborative, mission-driven approach to translational research.
